Writer and zine editor… expect the real and the unreal.

Josie loves all things Gothic and magical, but particularly a story which is fun, intriguing and says a little something about the world. She loves to write about weird and wonderful happenings in her home town, London, but also sets her tales in the mystical lands of the Westcountry, England.

Josie’s novella Liggers and Dreamers was published by Thin Man Press in 2015, and was described as ‘beautifully written’ in a critique by best-selling author and poet Heathcote Williams. Meanwhile her YA/NA Salt Kisses series – a new-age ‘mermance’ – has garnered nearly four million reads on story-telling site, Wattpad. The first two books from the series are now published with Wise Ink.

Josie is proud member of the Wattpad Futures Program and appeared on the ‘Wattpad’s most successful authors tell you how to do it’ panel at WattCon, Foyles, SoHo.  She is Editor of award-winning alternative news and culture publication La Bouche Zine and  has featured on the BBC Today Program on a feature about literary sub-culture.

Josie also writes short stories and articles.

  1. Love the website and I love the zine La Bouche – this latest issue is my favourite on money & greed with power. Also I found your article in The New Internationalist really thought provoking and shocking on the exposures of industrial spills within a human settlement with its environment to live in such conditions.

Well done Josie. keep it up.
